[ENG] Otokodate for Torii & Kensei

I've started to paint my Otokodate army bought with during KS dedicated to Kensei v2

But for starter i will paint a Torri list and expand from there.

Mounted and coated:



And the first three minis: The Spy, The Assassin & The Geisha (great title for a chambara movie !)




I really enjoyed painting these three, so some more picture just for fun:

I like a lot those rounded bases, definitely for skirmish is the best (I was really tented to use rounded bases in my kensei army as well xD)

I expand my Otodate army up to an Kensei: Raid size with miniatures recently recieved:





Adding what is already painted :


Damyo sohei (proxy), geisha, 5 heishi, 5 ashigaru katana, 3 ronins with teppo.
Ass some scenery or an hattamoto title and you have a 150 points army.

The last 3 samuraïs




No, they are not members of the Triforce clan ! The 3 triangles are the mon of the Tanegashima clan who welcomed the first europeans. They later copied the design of these foreigner's weapons and massively produced firearms up to a point that these kinds of rifles are called tanegashimas.




Since the Tanegashimas was a rich familly controlling a lot of merchants and artisans and actually introduced firearms in Japan, they would make a good basis for the background of my Otokodate army.
